Full 2026 refresh: new figures and 25 calculators
Every guide has been updated to 2026 levels - including the reformed top-tax bands, the DKK 552,000 Pay Limit threshold, updated SU, A-kasse and childcare figures, and 2026 car-registration tax. We also launched 25 interactive calculators covering take-home pay, rent, deposits, SU, pensions, car tax and more.
Rejsekort card retires
The physical Rejsekort stops working on 28 May 2026. Travel moves to the Rejsekort and Rejsebillet apps, with a Basiskort option for those who prefer a physical card.
Top-tax reform takes effect
The old single topskat has been split into middle, top and top-top bands with new thresholds, changing the marginal rate for higher earners. Our net-salary calculator reflects the 2026 structure.
Mortgage registration fee cut
The registration fee (tinglysningsafgift) on mortgages dropped at the start of 2026, slightly lowering the cost of buying. Our buy-vs-rent guidance is updated.
