The Fast Track Scheme, the quick route to work
What the Fast Track Scheme is
Fast Track lets certified employers (companies pre-approved by SIRI) recruit non-EU workers with speed and flexibility. It bundles several tracks, including a pay-limit track, a researcher track, a short-stay track and a supplementary track, under one faster process.
Who qualifies
Your employer must be Fast Track certified, and you must meet the relevant track's conditions. The main pay-limit track uses the DKK 552,000/year minimum salary (2026), the same as the standalone Pay Limit Scheme. Check the eligibility checker.
Why it is worth it
The big advantages: faster processing (often weeks rather than months) and the ability to start work while your application is processed in some cases, plus easy short business stays. For skilled hires at certified firms it is usually the smoothest route.
